Do owners and tenants get paid?
Yes. Property owners, tenants and small businesses earn a payout every time a member unlocks a listing they reported. There is no fee to contribute. The current payout per unlock is set by RentsForRents and shown in your portal; payouts are tracked as pending or paid.
Can tenants and small businesses list their lease?
Yes. Sign up as a Tenant / Small Business, enter your address, suite, square feet, rent, lease type, dates, term, escalations, concessions, TI and CAM / NNN charges, and optionally upload your lease (PDF, JPG or PNG, up to 20 MB each). You must confirm you have the right to share the information and that doing so does not violate your lease.
Who can see my uploaded lease files?
Only you and the RentsForRents admin. Lease files never appear in search, previews, member views or emailed reports.
How much does membership cost?
Launch pricing: $300 per year for appraisers and property managers, plus $10 for each property you unlock.
What does “unlock” mean?
Unlocking a property reveals its exact address, photos, map and all the data the owner or tenant shared, and emails you a full property report. Once unlocked, you keep access to it for the rest of your membership year.
What can non-members see?
Non-members can search and see blurred placeholder listings. Address, photos, map and all data are revealed only after you unlock a property.
What do “Owner-reported” and “Tenant-reported” mean?
The data was entered by the property’s owner or by a tenant / small business at that address, and each listing shows when it was last updated. It is self-reported and has not been independently audited. Separate listings at the same address are grouped together in search.
How do I pay?
Online payment is being switched on shortly. For now, new member accounts are “pending payment” and we will collect payment and activate access; unlocks are recorded and billed.
How do contributors receive payouts?
Add a payout method in your portal: a PayPal email or a mailing address for a check. Never enter bank account numbers.
Are tenant names shown?
Not by default. Contributors may optionally allow a tenant name per lease.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. Owners and tenants can edit or delete their listings and lease files at any time.
How do I sign in?
With the username and password you choose when you sign up.
