RentsForRents

Delete your RentsForRents account

You can delete your account yourself, any time, from the website or the mobile app.

How to delete it

  1. Log in at rentsforrents.com.
  2. Open My account (members) or your portal (owners and tenants) and choose Delete my account, or go straight to rentsforrents.com/account/delete.
  3. Re-enter your password, type DELETE, tick the confirmation box and submit. You are logged out immediately and we email you a confirmation.

If you can’t log in, email hello@rentsforrents.com from the address on the account and we will delete it for you.

What is deleted

  • Your name, email address, company, username and password
  • All sign-in sessions and push-notification registrations
  • Your payout (PayPal/Venmo) settings
  • For owners and tenants: your listings, property photos and uploaded lease files, which are removed from public view and deleted from storage

What we keep

  • Anonymized accounting records of memberships, unlocks, payments and earnings (no name, email or username attached)
  • If you were paid, or are owed a payout, the minimal payout and tax information (W-9 details, payout amounts and dates) that the law requires us to retain for tax reporting (Form 1099). It is kept privately and is never displayed or shared.

No refunds

All memberships and unlocks are final and non-refundable, including when you delete your account. Deleting your account ends your lifetime membership and any unlocked properties are lost. This cannot be undone.

Owners and tenants: earnings

If your available earnings are at or above the payout minimum ($25.00) and a PayPal/Venmo payout method is on file when you delete, you will still be paid in the next monthly payout run. A smaller balance is forfeited when the account is deleted, so consider waiting until you reach the minimum.
